![]() ![]() ![]() When Toru returns home later he begins to prepare dinner for him and his wife. There he meets a girl, “ She couldn’t have been more than fifteen or sixteen”, who promises to be on the lookout for his cat. Toru decides to go and look for their missing cat, Noboru Wataya, and climbs a wall to go look in a dead-end alley. However, this the call turns into telephone sex initiated by the woman, which leads Toru to hang up on her and not answer the phone again. The third phone call is from the mystery woman again. She is fine with Toru being at home and taking his time at finding a new job. ![]() The next phone call is from his wife Kumiko. After she abruptly cuts of the call he goes on cooking his spaghetti and begins with some house work. Toru receives a short and mysterious phone call from a woman whose voice he does not recognize although she says he knows her.
